Colouring Energy

Graphic Art Competition for students aged 6-18 on "Renewable Energy"

"Colouring Energy" (Colora l’energia) is a graphic art competition on sustainability addressed to pupils and students of some primary, secondary and high schools. A special jury selected 50 out of the 700 works submitted to realize a permanent exhibition along the sidewalk bordering the jobsite of the new Caps car park.

Promoted by Social Value, the initiative has involved a number of schools in Cesena. With the aim of raising awareness among young people on hot topics such as sustainability, the project saw the participation of more than 800 boys and girls aged from 6 to 16.

Thanks to the involvement of teachers and parents alike, the young students firstly worked on the concept of renewable energy, by analysing the main sources (solar, wind, geothermal),and were asked to write down their thoughts, slogans and suggestions on differently sized cards. More than 700 works were made using the most varied techniques.
